IMAGO FACILITATOR TRAINING

The 16-day Professional Facilitator Training – Become an Agent for Change in the World
This programme is for people outside the field of Psychology and Psychotherapy, who have been impacted by Imago and wish to deepen their own understanding and experience of this way of being in relationship in the world. It will prepare participants to bring Imago more fully into many aspects of their lives, including their areas of professional expertise.

The training contains the use of Imago in counselling work in the broadest sense with individuals, dyads, families, teams and groups as well as adaptations to various professional fields. It is comprised of Experiential work, Theory and Practice of the methods. The experiential work helps the Imago Professional Facilitator grow beyond their own reactivity and adaptations so that they can not only teach Imago principles and practices but embody the attitudes and live what s/he teaches both personally and professionally. The training is about growing the self as well as learning the theory and skills.

Imago psychotherapists have long been experts in the field of intimate couple relationships but many have noticed how the ideas and practices have a much broader application. Imago Educators have brought Imago into work relationships and have been effective in helping people in the workplace resolve relationship issues and conflicts between bosses and workers, colleagues, teachers and parents . Now Imago has a training specifically designed for people such as lawyers, doctors, health care professionals, community workers, ministers and clergy of all faiths, mediators, teachers and counsellors.
