The Basic Clinical Training Program - this APA accredited training is for licensed therapists who already have a practice with couples or who wish to develop one. The small group intensive program helps therapists to grow personally and professionally.

During the training therapists will
- deepen their understanding of the impact of childhood relationship experiences on partner selection in adulthood and subsequent relationship dynamics. Imago Relationship Therapy is based on a comprehensive and systematic model of couple relationships integrating knowledge from many of the main Western psychological, spiritual and neurological traditions.
- Learn how to facilitate couples in dialogue processes that support safety and connection .

Basic Clinical Training in Imago Relationship Therapy

$1,000 for September, + $2,100 for November & March + $600 for post training supervision over a 6 month period.
London, England:

Cost: Certification tracks - £1,700, Auditing £1,300 + approximately £300 for post training supervision.
Dublin, Ireland:
21-24 October, 2008, 22-25 January & 7-10 May, 2009.
Location: Cherith, Firhouse Road, Firhouse, Dublin 24, Ireland.
Cost: Certification tracks - €2,215, Auditing: €1,845 + approximately €400 for post training supervision.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily

Admission Requirements for Therapists
- Advanced training with a clinical focus in a mental health field
- Membership in a recognized professional mental health organization
- Participation in a two-day Getting the Love You Want Workshop for Couples
- Malpractice Insurance

Each application will be considered on its own merit. If you do not currently meet all the requirements, please attach a cover letter that addresses the exceptions.
Educational Track

Non – clinicians, such as spouses of trainees, clergy, physicians, coaches and educators, interested in deepening their understanding of relationship therapy for professional or personal reasons are welcome to participate in the training program, to become certified Imago Relationship Educators. Auditing – partners of trainees or others interested for their own personal growth and learning may participate in the training at the discretion of the clinical instructor. Participants are expected to participate fully in the class and small group work but are not required to do between session or post course work assignments.
